KM engineers first performed dynamic balancing tests on the grinding wheel machine. The vibration sensor was placed at the root of the bearing. The speed was measured at 991RPM and the vibration value was 0.085 microns. The dynamic balance was very good. The second measurement value was similar to the first. Then the air compressor, motor bearings, etc. were tested for vibration. The vibration values were all below 2mm/s. Finally, the rotors of various CNC lathes were tested for dynamic balancing. Only one eccentric rotor had a high value. The vibration value was about 3.5 microns at 1000RPM, and about 7.8 microns at 1500RPM. Later, due to the lack of conditions to add heavier weights or counterweights on site, no dynamic balancing was performed. Then the eccentric rotor was disassembled and the bearings were measured. The measured value was below 0.5 microns. Finally, the eccentric rotor was installed for measurement. The speed was 1500RPM and the vibration value was about 3.6 microns. Analysis showed that the imbalance may be caused by poor installation. It is recommended that customers reinstall.
