Daqing Refining and Chemical Company's plant area has numerous high-altitude pipelines requiring leak detection. Traditional detection method is  inconvenient. To improve detection efficiency, Daqing Refining and Chemical Company decided to introduce the KMV1 acoustic camera. Its visual imaging technology enables rapid scanning and monitoring of high-altitude pipelines. Its handheld design allows for precise location of even the smallest leaks, significantly reducing safety risks and workload for workers.

KMV1 acoustic camera is a new type of noise source identification, positioning, testing and analysis system. It uses a highly sensitive digital microphone to visualize the collected sound on the screen in the form of a color contour map. During this inspection, the KMV1 acoustic camera displayed the location and leakage amount of the leak point on the screen in real time during the mobile scanning process. The leakage degree was intuitively displayed through different color labels, effectively avoiding the blind spots and time-consuming traditional detection methods.
