KMV1 Acoustic Camera Solves Pipeline Gas Leakage Problems And Accurately Locates Leak Points!
A gas leak in a pipeline can trigger a chain reaction that impacts far beyond the leak site. When toxic or flammable gases spread through the air, the primary threat is to the lives of on-site personnel. High concentrations can cause suffocation, poisoning, or even explosions.

With the continuous improvement of industrial safety standards, traditional gas leak detection methods are no longer able to meet the efficiency requirements of complex environments. Suitable inspection device is needed for leak detection. KM engineer visited a client site with a gas leak detection requirement. They first estimated the overhead pipelines. Each workshop has two main gas pipelines, each approximately 80 meters long. The client required inspection of the natural gas pipelines for CNC equipment and heating furnaces. Using KMV1 acoustic camera, our engineers discovered four leaks in the CNC workshop and a leaking pneumatic valve in the natural gas heating furnace, successfully resolving the client's current difficulties.

KMV1 Acoustic Camera is an advanced device designed specifically for industrial inspection, utilizing acoustic visualization technology for efficient fault diagnosis. It converts ultrasonic signals generated by leaks into color contour maps, which are then overlaid on visible light images to visually identify leak locations (such as pipe connections and valves). It also supports real-time display of leak rates and energy loss estimates. Equipped with an array of nearly 100 high-sensitivity digital microphones and a beamforming algorithm, it achieves centimeter-level positioning accuracy, effectively filtering out background noise even in noisy environments.
