1. The use of vibration analyzers to detect the state of equipment cannot be used as the only basis for determining the period of equipment overhaul, but it is indeed necessary as a reference condition. Due to the low speed of water pumps, fans and other equipment, the harm caused by vibration is not the only one. For example, sometimes there is no problem with the vibration tester, but the impeller is seriously corroded and needs to be overhauled. Therefore, the determination of the equipment overhaul period should be comprehensively considered from the test results of the vibrometer, the cumulative operating hours and efficiency of the equipment and other aspects.

2. It is also necessary to apply vibration analyzer testing as a means of acceptance after equipment overhaul. It should be pointed out that due to the different degrees of newness and oldness of the equipment, the inspection value of its acceptance is not uniformly specified. It is uniformly stipulated that it should be based on the detection value of the accepted pump set before the overhaul, and the value after the repair should be lower than the value before the repair. In addition, the application of the vibration meter can also find out the installation problems of the pump set (including poor alignment, loose anchor bolts during long-term operation), and cavitation of the pump.
