Poor dynamic balancing of centrifugal rotors is one of the common faults in industrial production. It not only affects the operating efficiency of the machine, but may also cause safety hazards. When there is an uneven mass distribution or assembly errors in the rotor system, the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation will cause severe vibration, which will accelerate bearing wear and even cause machine resonance. To address this problem, the first thing to do is to locate the source of imbalance through precise detection methods. Modern dynamic balancing instruments can quickly collect vibration signals and, combined with spectrum analysis technology, accurately identify the imbalance phase and amplitude of the rotor. For small rotors, a single-plane balancing method can be used to add or remove counterweights at specific locations; while large multi-stage rotors require double-sided or even multi-plane balancing to correct compound imbalance.
