KMV1 Acoustic Camera Helps Daqing Petrochemical Company Detect Pipeline Leaks And Achieve Visualized Location!

Gas leak is a significant safety hazard in industrial production. In particular, leaks of hazardous gases can directly lead to poisoning, fires, explosions, and other safety accidents, causing personal injury, property damage, and even extreme harm to the environment and health. Gas leak is generally undetectable to the naked eye and can occur anywhere along pipelines or other infrastructure. Therefore, selecting appropriate instrument for detecting gas leak is crucial!

Daqing Petrochemical Company has many high-altitude pipelines that require leak detection. KMV1 acoustic camera is a new type of noise source identification, location, and testing analysis system. Utilizing high-sensitivity digital microphones, it visualizes the collected sound as a color contour map on the screen, effectively measuring the sound field distribution. In this detection, KMV1 acoustic camera displayed the location and leakage amount of the leak point on the screen in real time during the mobile scanning process. Different colored markers intuitively showed the degree of leakage, effectively avoiding the blind spots and time-consuming nature of traditional detection methods. It enabled the customer to achieve efficient and accurate gas leak detection and location, which was highly recognized by the customer.
