When stranding machines operate at high speeds, poor dynamic balance often leads to increased vibration, which not only affects production efficiency but can also cause mechanical failures. To address this issue, we need to systematically optimize dynamic balance performance from three aspects: machine structure, process parameters, and operation and maintenance. When the stranding machine experiences abnormal vibration due to bearing wear, dynamic imbalance or mechanical resonance, KMbalancer II+ vibration analyzer and dynamic balancer can perform dynamic balance correction and vibration analysis.

KM engineer brought KMbalancer II+. The customer told us that they wanted to solve the problem of poor dynamic balance. After understanding the RPM and other parameters of the stranding machine, they began to make corrections. The engineer used the dual-plane dynamic balancing method and measured the initial imbalance value of surface 1 to be 0.82mm/s, and the initial imbalance value of surface 2 to be 1.618mm/s. After correction, the imbalance values of surface 1 reached 0.313mm/s and surface 2 reached 0.595mm/s, which met the international vibration standards. The dynamic balance correction was successfully completed. The inspector were also allowed to practice the operation on site, which was very efficient!
